A to Z Freight Haul is seeking self-motivated Independent Contractor Freight Agents for a growing Licensed Freight Brokerage. All agents/brokers who apply are advised to have an established Shipper/Carrier resources and general knowledge of the load movement process. Commission split up to 70%.
As a Contracted Freight Agent, you will work remote with no cap on commission potential. We are seeking both experience contracted freight agents and those looking for an entry level position into the industry.
Responsibility
· Professionally, efficiently and strategically engage in the management of freight
· Manage customer base while building a professional relationship.
· Maintain an established book of business and engage in continuous prospecting by various methods.
· Be the collaboration center between partnering shippers and carriers.
· Properly track freight shipment and keep the partnering shipper informed of freight status with regular updates.
· Ensure that all carriers are in compliance and meet the established standard prior to assigning a load.
· Operate with integrity when negotiating and invoicing.
· Keep broker informed and updated on freight transactions
Pay: Commission
